Help to buy valuations

Bespoke 'Target compliant' Reports. If you bought your home using the 'Help to Buy' Scheme you will require an RICS Regulated Valuation if you choose to pay off the loan, remortgage, or when selling the property. The valuation is to determine the current market valuation to establish the amount of the loan to be repaid.

RICS Home survey level 2 (formerly RICS Homebuyer survey)

An inspection of the property, (where accessible) highlighting repairs utilising a clear traffic light system. Also includes: speak to the surveyor, before and after the inspection, professional advice from a surveyor concerning repairs and maintenance.


Current market valuation and reinstatement cost can be provided (where required) at an additional cost.

RICS Home survey level 3 (formerly RICS Building Survey)

The most comprehensive report which includes: speak to the surveyor before and after the inspection, inspection of the property highlighting urgent repairs via a clear traffic light system, Comprehensive report on construction and defects and professional advice from a surveyor concerning ongoing repairs and maintenance and where acceptable an idea of potential costs of improvements.

Independent Valuation

Current market Valuation report, required for reasons such as; probate, matrimonial or staircasing. By VRS registered valuers.
